I am bothered by the unknowns but have settled on the thought that it doesn't matter anyways, as the first assessment is just a data point from which to measure growth. Knowing ahead of time could actually influence your data or even make it more difficult to create the growth they are looking for between the two tests.
I'm concerned that there will be differences in nomenclature that may confuse our kids, but again, they are looking for growth and we will be able to address those before the second test.
