I have seen some people come back, but the solution is one that you can't do it sounds like. They've ended up going to districts that are very remote in the edges of the state. The area you're currently locked into has so many applicants that they can afford to round file anyone whose certificate looks bad. You might be able to get a personal connection to a district and personnel to be able to get them to look past it, but I would doubt it.

I do know of several directors who are still teaching with inscribed reprimands. You're just not going to have much of a chance though with the circumstances you described.
