Ok. All of you guys and gals that choose the audition material, please fix the etudes!

Can you imagine a middle school band director passing out beginner material with, "Errata"!

Can you imagine a high school band director with 280 kids (or even 10) passing out drill with, "Errata"!

Can you imagine a band director printing a concert program full of,"Errata"! I'm sure your parents would understand this one!

And I could go on, and on.

I have been teaching since July 1984. I have dealt with this _rap for way too long. If the publisher has "Errata" filled etudes, don't use them! The publisher will catch on and either fix them or feel the pinch in the pocket book.

Boys and girls, this is not a difficult fix! Our band kids, and directors deserve better.

Look at it this way...If you buy a _rappy loaf of bread on July 14, and find that it is full of "Errata", why on Earth would you buy it again a week later?
