We were able to get new uniforms for this year and they came with a barcode. The barcode scanner we use is the Wasp WLR8950. It seems to do really well.

It was pretty effective to scan the barcodes in when assigning uniforms to people. I had to build the Google Workbook that did the magic so that our uniform crew could see who was assigned what for handing out hats and the loose dry-fit tops, but it worked well.
