When I used to be the recruiter, I would make a brief slide show with lots of pictures of middle school and sometimes HS band. I tried to answer the most common questions in the slides, and I uploaded a few videos of 6th graders talking about their experiences. They got a kick out of seeing someone they knew in the video. You can even add a short performance video in your last slide.
If you dont want slides, consider a trustworthy student to make the video for them. Share a folder with any pics or videos you want included and ask them to edit for you. Of course you'll want to view it ahead of time.
