What you're looking for is a tough fit. I would look at comparable school districts to see what they have done and had success with. Instrumentation might not be your biggest issue as you will have to rewrite a lot of your music anyways. I'd be more concerned with rhythm, length, difficulty and make sure you're ready to rewrite a ton. Best of luck. I've seen bands of 15 succeed. You can do it!
