Ok, need some ideas for contest material, both PML and marches.

This is what I have:

1 flute, good...but not very confident

3 Clarinets, one VERY strong (possible all-stater), others 1 weak, 1 improving but not confident

1 alto sax, good

1 Tenor sax, strong

3 trumpets, 1 strong, 2 good

4 trombones, strong

2 baritones, good

1 tuba, baritone convert, very good & hard worker

4 percussion, mallet skills not as good as the should be, otherwise 3 very good, 1 weak and not confident.


We go early to UIL, Class 2A. What should I be looking at music-wise?
