I second the Sueta. Simple, focused, and eye friendly for kids. It's to the point. You teach good sound production first, tone, long tones, air support, and consistency before anything else. It is the most appropriate pacing I've used for beginners. Plus, you can actually complete the book in a year where as others feel rushed or incomplete.
