I have two Sound Projection Voice Machines. I am not getting what I would consider a decent range out of these units. On a good day, I get only a little bit of sound loss from a distance of about 150 feet in open space from the bleachers to the middle of the field. The signal is just not reliable.

I've seen many schools using the Sound Machine instead of the Voice Machine, but the mics and body packs look to be the same. Are they different/better on the Sound Machines? How have they performed for your groups during rehearsals and in the stands at games?
