“Flawed” as the rule may seem or be, they signed an agreement. The choir director admitted that neither he nor anyone in the district noticed that part of the agreement. When you couple that WITH TMEA denying their request to allow the child to perform, and they STILL did it, then YES, REALLY! This turned from oops, we didn’t know, to can we allow our student to perform, to we are going to it anyway. That level of defiance sets the tone for TMEA not to trust the leaders of the school, which is effectively the school, to do the right thing. Can’t wait see the open records information someone said they would post after compiling. This thing is DONE! It will continue to fizzle out. Someone recently said they wonder how much of this is old band director friends from a certain area looking out for their friend. Apparently, most of the noise came from them and their posts came down REALLY quick🤣🤣🤣
