GoFundMe style fundraisers work well. A million different companies have their versions of it -- instaraise, snapraise, etc.

I like them because you aren't selling overpriced popcorn that eats away at the profit margins. You don't have to worry about delivering any product. The range of the fundraiser is not limited to your town -- you can ask for donations from anywhere in the country. Makes it easier so that you aren't asking the same community members to support the band, choir, football team, cheer, etc.
