It comes down to calories in vs calories out.
The biggest thing to do is watch portion size.
This does not mean you have to give up eating foods you love. You just might need to eat a smaller portion when you eat them.
Yes, there are foods that are better for you than others. And some foods will allow you to eat more than others based on calories. But as long as you are willing to burn more calories than you consume, you will see progress.
Losing weight is a lifestyle change. A lot of people fail in losing weight because they will not change their lifestyle or habits when it comes to food and exercise.
There are also lots of recipes on the internet to help substitute ingredients in your favorite foods to make them more healthy and lowere in calories.
