I know that 'difficult' is subjective and each campus is going to be different, but is band the most (or one of the most) difficult activities on your campus?
Don't get me wrong I do think that there are difficult parts to many activities and academics. But is it easier to "pass" an EOC or earn a 1 at UIL? I'm not trying to insult classroom teachers I sure don't want to teach math.
I was thinking about this because one of my students was telling me how hard and how fun (marching) band is. And I said yes it is hard, but that's what makes it fun. Maybe that's lost now on a majority of students (and parents)?
Just some musing before a long bus ride for football.
