Contracted days

Hey YB! Some of you may be able to help. I am expected to work more than my contracted days without a stipend. 20-30 (extra), my district has made it clear that “it’s just part of the job” and they will not provide a stipend. I work extra days and extended hours. I understand how extra hours fit into a salaried, exempt position. Two questions: I’m correct in thinking that this is not legal, right? And How do I make them bleed (legally) I am tired of being abused and am looking for a new job. I’m sure someone here has had a similar experience.
