Should they be removed? Teen Drama

Student A made an alarming comment about Student B that led to us making a CPS report, which is very very serious. The parent of Student B said Student A’s comments were false and wants to have a meeting that involves the parent of Student B, Student B, and us. I have asked an administrator to sit on the meeting too. I know deep in my heart this will turn into a “either Student A goes or my Student B goes” as this isn’t the first time Student A has caused problems. Student A is definitely prone to creating drama, but aside from spreading false information, hasn’t really done anything substantial enough to be removed from the program. I hope this isn’t too vague to give a good answer, but how would you handle this? I feel like this petty teen drama should be handled between the students and their parents tbh
