School A: (I'm no longer there) Pulling kids for pictures, covid tests, make goody bags, paint posters, mostly non-academic things... When I left, I pointed out that there were interruptions to 2nd period (not just me) over 30% of class days. No one cared.
School B: (Happily here) There are occasional instances where I have a request for a student to complete a test or similar. All requests are purely academic, rarely happen, and I always have the option to say no. The 6th math teacher runs some short tutoring sessions during the elective period, and he always ask what will work for me (beginning/end/today/tomorrow). The admin has a different mindset here.
I guess the point is... If the admin doesn't care now, quoting the regulations probably won't change the outcome. Sorry.
