Actually, you don't even need to hide it. If it is a directive from the district or your supervisor and you don't do it, they can terminate you - probationary or not. Termination really just requires documentation of not doing what you are supposed to do. I'd bet that every contract has a provision that states something similar to :"The Employee agrees to comply with all Board and District directives, state and federal laws and rules, and District policy and regulations, as they exist or may hereafter be amended." This is directly from my contract.
