Having been told in the past at a 4A head job that they were unwilling to negotiate, I’d never take a job like that again. Every district should be able to negotiate if they truly want you. If they’re going to be cheap on your salary, just imagine how they’re going to treat your program as time goes on. Long story short, I left that program after a year.
