Some of the responses in this thread are just eye opening and sad. So caught up in the dictatorship of being a "head" director giving little to no regard for the education of our students. Any person, head or assistant, that has to have this conversation has either lost or never had the true passion for teaching students. To much selfish mentality in hear. I thank God I don't work for you and that my kids will never step foot in your band hall. Educate the students, get over your ego and help each other.
