It's funny how every teacher on my campus had the same "issues" to address because the principal's supervisor wanted to focus on those areas.
We all get the same feedback regardless of our content or effectiveness.
Why they even bother actually observing us and having these conferences is beyond me if you aren't going to give authentic and individualized feedback. I would be fine with signing whatever they write if they just leave me alone to actually teach instead of jumping through ALL the hoops.
I have a data wall, individual success folders, objectives board for every class, word walls, incentive charts, diagram templates, Check for understanding lists, etc etc. It's time consuming and they only care about it when they come in the room----but it better be up to date and visible!
Retirement is 5 years away!!!!
