There is no legitimate reason to block you from being able to use educational software with your kids. Go above whoever is enforcing this ban. Principal, Supt, whatever you need to do. TonalEnergy and Forscore are necessities! I'm also a big fan of MetroTimer. There is zero reason for something like this short of an IT director on a power kick. This is worth fighting them on! Offer to supply a gift card to pay for the app if they're hung up on money or something.
