Brass player here. I'm playing a challenging UIL march that has fast 16th note runs at the end (His Honor). I have more than half my WW kids progressing well, but a handful that just don't grasp the concept of playing 16th note runs.

I've had them tongue the notes,then slur, start slow and speed up; but no luck. Is there anything else that I can try to help these kiddos? Tricks of the trade?
