I held off replying because you're asking if anyone tried them... Just my .02 here of experience with a euphonium, and their replacement euphonium, from them. Save the money from them and find a bit more to buy a King or a Yamaha. Or honestly even a Jupiter. Don't waste your money on an Eastman. We've had nothing but issues with the instrument, and it was a persistent enough problem with all of their line that our main music store stopped dealing in those instruments. I've been told they've gotten better, but I was told that as we were given a replacement instrument too. I will never trust instruments from that company again because of that. Yamaha and King have been around forever, and even with Kings going down a little on metal quality I still think they're way more durable than the Eastmans will be.
