What town/ district?

Which day off? Friday - makes it easier to get buses for those long distance away games, and we can do our long evening rehearsal Friday afternoon and be well prepared for our game that evening and any Saturday contests

Do teachers have to come in on the off day? No, but we do have a PD Day 1 Friday each month. It usually is fairly relaxed as far as PD goes. Generally non-STAAR subjects have no more than 8:00-11:00 with our afternoons free.

Start and end times each school day? 7:45-4:00

Reduction in salary from times of five day school week? No. Salary Schedules were adjusted to equal the what it would have been as a regular 10, 10.5, or 11+ Contract. The board also passed a significant pay increase across the board on top of that, so we are actually making a good bit more than last year on the 5-day week schedule.
