They may not be able to do the full band with a student, but maybe this will work.

Split the band intro groups. Upper ww, sax/low reed, high brass, low brass, for example. Give them a selection of music to work on each day. Have them send you a video of their performance for each assignment. You can even incentivize it and have a prize for the best section.
