Me too! Although I'm not a public school band director anymore, I do direct the pep band at the University up the road. But I got my PPL last summer in July. I wish I'd done it years earlier. My plan is to get Instrument rated, commercial rated, then CFI. Move my classroom from the band hall to the cockpit when I retire from TRS.
