Our playoff was 3 hours away.

Two things are different in New Mexico.
1. Playoffs are not at a neutral site. Higher seed gets home field advantage.
2. Bands do not usually go to away games. We didn't have to take our band to the playoff. We have taken the band to one away playoff since I've been here(five years) and that was to the state championship.
