I try to give other groups a specific chunk of measures to look at at finger while I am working with another section. It takes a long time and a lot of me turning around to remind them, but in the long run, they eventually learn to work on something and get better. That and asking lots of questions of them to keep them engaged. Try asking them to listen to the group you are working with and have them give feedback.
