Have any of you seriously considered going back to military style? There is now a military division of the state marching contest. You would not be competing against bands that spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a marching, but you would have to play the heck out of the music that you play. You would be playing against bands that really know how to play marches, but the budget situation would put you on a closer to level playing field. Let's face it....some bands will never do well at the open class contest because of the money it takes for that type of show.
