We can UIL pass a rule that marching bands cannot spend more than a set budget. Watching some of the bands in our area and asking directors what their budgets were, is crazy.

To spend 75,000 to 150,000 on a fall marching band production is crazy. How can anyone compete with this and still run with the rich schools and school districts?

The bands who can spend the most will always win. Bigger staff, better props, better arrangements, better programming, and better drill.
