YES!!! THIS RIGHT HERE.

It’s like “hey I know gas, housing, food is up wherever percent, but your salary for the YEAR is only going up $50. Congrats!!”

This is an ENORMOUS contributing factor for me. NO salary growth. Meanwhile, other professions can get a 10k growth in 3, 5 years, etc. Again, just goes to show that teachers are not appreciated or seen as vital like the medical field, law enforcement, law, etc.
