I would schedule time with HR and let your administrator know. Just tell them you have an inquiry regarding your current salary when compared to last year and you noticed a potential overpayment issue. You may build trust but at the least look transparent.
Like others have said, the district can request a reimbursement if there was an overpayment. Being the first to mention it may yield a positive result or they will work with you on a repayment plan.
