I am on a 12 month midpoint contract. This year we were suppose to receive a 3% midpoint raise. When I got paid this month I noticed my salary reduced by approx. $175 instead of increasing. When I went back and looked at past pay stubs I discovered more discrepancies. I signed on for x amount. When calculating my gross pay last year I discovered I was paid x amount +$5000. So looking back I was over paid by approx. $5000 last school year. My new lower paycheck equals the 3% raise over my last year salary.

I’m worried if I bring this up to payroll they will come after me for the overpayment and reduce my pay even more. I also don’t want to work for $3000 less then I did last year with prices and cost of living going up all around us.

Any advice is appreciated.
