Been through a few storms. Band hall looked like a disaster. Uniforms over chairs, all cases open and the instrument straddling the case so that air was under the instruments and in the cases. Instruments left on Friday night, everything was perfectly dry on Monday morning.

You just have to be smart when dealing with it. Of course, during this storm the woodwind cases and instruments were put on the bus so we were only dealing with brass and percussion instruments. Percussion equipment was wiped down as best as possible. Anything that might have had any issues was dealt with when the heads came off to get ready for indoor season.
