ASSOCIATE BAND DIRECTOR opening

Killeen HS is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual for Associate Band Director position on our campus.

The Associate Band Director's duties entail but are not limited to team teaching in all aspects of the band program with the Assistant Band Director under the leadership of the Director of Bands. Directing the Non-Varsity Band and one of two Sub Non-Varsity bands. Assist with middle schools in feeder pattern, and actively support the school and community. The candidate should have strong organization and communication skills. Build effective relationships with students, parents, administration, and community leaders.

The Killeen HS Band is moving from a 6A Band down to a 5A Band and just a moved into a new State of the Art Band Facility with all new instruments, new equipment and new uniforms.

Drum Corps experience a plus (but not required), woodwind specialty preferred, but ALL applicants will be considered.
