I make less than 60k with seven years of experience and couldn't afford the 220k starter home until the age of 31 in 2019. You assume that I make more money and that homes cost less money than the reality of either situation. I could sell my home to make a respectable profit due to the shortage of homes, but where will I live due to that same shortage?
