Let's not forget that classroom teaching caps out on pay. We are expected to go into admin roles as we grow older and more experienced, especially if we want bigger bucks.

Teacher Incentive Allotment allows for higher salaries through incentive pay. I won't have the accolades of Honor band titles and multiple decades of experience, but I look forward to making more based on instructional merits.
