Has got to be a joke, right? Do you seriously think that teachers deserve to be paid less than $60k a year for everything we do? You don’t earn a prize for accepting to work for low wages, you know. Teachers are the foundation of society and we deserve to be treated as such, which should definitely encompass compensation. And I didn’t even talk about how much the cost of living has gone up vs “the old days”
