That's the usual rule/law - UNLESS your district is a District of Innovation which has different rules. You need to check your local guidelines now.

Some districts will let you leave as few as 30 days or even 14 days before the first day of instruction. Some have pushed it to 60 days. You need to check your local guidelines.
