One of my students performed their solo beautifully this past weekend. The judge even said that they got goosebumps. They touched on a couple of "minor" technique issues. And concluded with "Wonderful Performance". She left the room room feeling great. Received a 2. I do understand the level of what a performance needs to be for a first division. But that particular judges reactions, comments and interaction with student was very misleading for the resulting outcome.
