Clearly its an issue if districts are giving incentive pay and increasing base salaries. Clearly its an issue or the HR departments wouldn't be making adjustments and trying to retain employees.
Also, I'm noticing a lot of experienced directors leaving because of burn out and pay issues.
I think just chalking it up "grandstanding" doesn't help.
Honestly, I never understand why people don't support changes and always have to play the "prove it" card. We should always advocate for more. If we don't people will take advantage. That's what's been happening the last decade.
