Difficulty: all of THEIR stuff is out of copyright. Even if I wanted to upload a set of (for example) Prelude Op. 34 by Shostakovich, arr Reynolds, I can't. I don't have copyright. But the piece is POP, and it's a major work. Why can't Fischer get rights? Why won't they digitally distribute?

Just search the PML for POP. 147 entries. Take off 10-15 for songs that include "pop" in the title or artist somehow. RIGHT THERE is where you'd make your money. Obviously it's still worth performing or it'd be off the PML.

(And that doesn't count songs taken off the PML in the past ten years because they were ALSO POP, like Lord of the Rings by de Meij.
