1. 65K for a degreed "professional" with 10 yrs experience is laughable. That is the average starting point for almost any other degreed profession.

Considering your attitude about the profession, sounds like you are content being treated as a second class citizen for minimal pay. Enjoy that under-funded retirement package that doesn't take into account cost of living increases and poor medical coverages. A "sit there and take it" approach only maintains the status-quo.
