I just completed this same task. Did away with the numbers and just alphabetized and separated into those same categories so that new pieces could easily be added in alpha. I got rid of junk like 70's tv themes and other stuff that will never get looked at. I labeled every uil piece by grade. And students were extremely helpful in this process.
