Lot of good questions on here, and some I will steal.

Here's some of what I ask in my interviews:

Tell me about a situation that presented a challenge to you and how you met that issue. What would you do differently if it were to happen again today?

What do you feel has been your greatest professional accomplishment so far in your career?

What area of your teaching skills need the most improvement?

Tell me about someone in our field (MuEd) that you admire and how you emulate that person.

How do you develop the character of your students? How do you identify and grow "good band kids?"

What would your students say about you if asked?

Can you give me an example of how you demonstrated empathy towards a student or co-worker?

Lastly, and I only ask this to see if the candidate can think on their feet: Is a hot dog a sandwich?
