So after our concert the other day a student was cranking down (lowering) one of our Wenger shells and when they let go of the crank it shot back up halfway. Called Wenger to come out and look at it (and a couple other broken shells we have) and I was told that since we purchased this in 2009 they no longer service or repair this item. We should just replace it. I'm not qualified in any way to try to fix this thing, but has anyone been able to hire a third party to work on your Wenger shells? It seems wasteful to get rid of a perfectly good shell because of a mechanical issue.
