I don't think the other post was meant to be snarky. When he said it "should have been checked at contest" he was probably referring to the judge checking the memory box.....not you at fault for not "checking" the sheets.
It's gets fast at region solo contest and I must admit that as a judge I have forgotten to check that box. Then they have to come down to my room and clarify.
