If you're trying to lose weight, intermittent fasting is a currently popular strategy. One version of intermittent fasting (16:8) is basically just skipping breakfast and not eating after dinner. I was able to lose some pretty significant weight doing that, and now even though I'm happy with my weight I find myself not really wanting breakfast. The whole "most important meal of the day" thing is really just marketing for cereal companies.
