How do you plan on structuring your explanation process?
Will you provide a little time for individuals to work out technical passages on their own?
Do you plan on doing much clapping and counting?
Will judges expect a higher level of performance because of the new procedure? I know the rubric will not change but judges are human
I realize the process on the day may have to be adjusted based on the complexity, or lack thereof, of the piece, but I thought I would tap into the hive mind for some early insight into best practices.
