Nowhere in my post did I say I wanted to “keep people from working hard to be successful”. I brought forward the idea of universally pulling back the “expected hours”.
It’s not uncommon for directors to burn out and quit (who are then looked down upon-real estate agents are “band directors who weren’t good at band directing”) or face serious health issues (heart attacks/high blood pressure/etc.) from our job. We need to start a conversation about how to change this for the future.
